My name is Krista. I run Satmya Yoga & Massage.

I am passionate about teaching Yoga. I love teaching vinyasa flow yoga, but I also enjoy teaching yin and restorative yoga, and yoga nidra. I started teaching in 2013. My partner and I were running an off-grid project in Spain at the time, where we had many volunteers come to stay with us over the years, and I would teach Yoga to anyone who wanted lessons. This was my first experience of teaching. We had many adventures during this time, we also travelled doing work placements in the UK and I was always keen to teach any one who wanted lessons along the way.

In 2020 I did a 300 hour yoga teacher training, where I expanded my knowledge of yoga, and it also sparked a great passion for Ayurveda. Ayurveda helped me improve my mental and physical health dramatically and inspired me to take a 200 hour Ayurvedic health advisor course with Hale Pule in 2021.

It seemed like all these passions came together when I discovered Ayurvedic Yoga Massage in 2022. It brings together a number of my interests: Yoga, Ayurveda, aromatherapy and the general overarching goal of mine to help people feel better in their bodies. I took a level 4 qualification with AYM UK in the summer of 2022.

I also love spending time in nature, I am a voracious reader, (sometimes reading multiple books at once) as well as a number of different arts and crafts.
